Default Diy Favor - Help!

I am thinking of giving my guests a beach bag with all the goodies - beach towels, flip flop, sun tan lotions, etc. I have a hard time finding the beach towels that I really like and reasonablly priced. Any suggestions? Have anyone dones this favor before? Thanks a lot!

About two weeks ago Target was having a beach towel sale. They were plain towels and I think they were $3.99 ($4 dollars). They actually had them in my wedding colors so I bought them all. I am planning on doing monograms on them. I need to see how much that will cost.
I think these towels are originally $6.

I am doing the same sort of bag. I got my towels at Wal-Mart for $2.80 each. They were on sale and were good quality.. It was really funny cause we needed 80 towels and my mom and I were digging through a bin and had cart loads of towels...people were looking at us pretty strange!

I was going to do beach towels for each person but I couldn't find them cheap. we have 70 people coming and the cheapest one I could find was $7-$9. Did you girls actually get beach towels or large bath towels?

Mine are the large bath towels. I originally wanted the beach towels but, like you, couldn't find a good enough price. So, I settled on the bath towel - I think they will work just as good :)

I checked mine and they are the large bath towels. They look like beach towels b/c I got them in very bright colors and they are super large. It was a pretty good deal, but I am only bought them for my immediate family as well as the groom’s immediate family. Oh and the other BM.

i would LOVE to do this, but they would take up so much room in the luggage. and then people would have to bring them back - not sure they'd have room either!

Another option that I was considering is the straw type beach mat. OTC sells them for $2.95 a piece of something like that. I thought these would be lighter in my suitcase so more affordable.
