Default Dress as a disney princess?

Would you dress like a Disney princess for your wedding? - Styledash

Just what you always wanted for your wedding day: to be a princess. Thanks to a new initiative from Disney, that dream could become a reality. The company has recently introduced a series of dresses fashioned after their fictional cartoon heroines.

In a Wall Street Journal interview, designer Kristie Kelly says Cinderella is "classic glamour," Snow White has "sweet elegance," Ariel from The Little Mermaid has a "sultry allure" and is "comfortable showing her body," and Jasmine from Aladdin is "bohemian chic."

I'll never be able to watch The Little Mermaid the same way again.

Would you wear Disney on your wedding day?

hmm it will be interesting to see what they come up with.

No, never. But, its not me. I totally think some woman out there will love the idea. I can't imagine what those dresses would cost though. Also, there will not be very many of them, so a lot of other brides would be wearing the same dress, I would not be okay with that.

I don't think I would want a blue dress, not with poofy sleeves, but I do want to feel like a princess...I think my dress makes me feel like that.

I don't think I would do it either... I want to look like me on my day. Still, it is a neat idea. I knew someone who did that for her grad/prom, she had the blue dress and gloves to look like Cinderella... grad is different than wedding tho!

"Oh, no... I don't need it anymore - I used it for Halloween!!"

Okay.. you must all be laughing at me b/c I'm the only one who said yes! So let me clarify, I would do a photo session if I could have pics like that, but I would't acutally wear the dress for my wedding!

We were not laughing at you at all. I said I can totally see some women loving this idea. I think whatever you want to do for your wedding is the right thing for you. That is why all of us are going away and getting married on or near the beach somewhere. lol
