I have seen some wonderful posts about wine cork place cards as well as the candle wine topper. Does anyone have other ideas how to incorporate the wine theme into a AHR reception?

i was just going to say the same thing. Christine will be the expert! but i can think of customized wine labels, cork stuff (place cards, candles, etc.), using grape/grapevines rather than flowers to decorate, ... hmmm i'll think of more !

This is just an excuse to drink more wine.. LOL
You could use empty wine bottles in different sizes maybe three - customize the labels and use them as canddle holders- wine colored tapers- they can be centerpieces for your tables maybe with grapes & vines underneath?

some of these are a little cheesy, but i thought some were cute! and maybe they'll inspire some better ideas ... Wine Wedding Favors, Wine Themed Weddings, Cocktail Party Favors Wine Party: Plum Party Supplies & Favors eBay: Wine Charms; Drink Charms; Handmade; Fish/Beach Theme (item 250089127435 end time Mar-04-07 13:18:45 PST) - I thought these were cute, wine AND beach!
Also, what about hiring someone to host a wine tasting at the party? Have it off to the side or make it the main event!

sorry I am coming in late...my entire wedding is wine themed. I have been super busy the last few days.
I will give you the list I have so far and then some pics of things I have tried to do.
If I can think of anything else I will let you know
Let me know if you have any questions
our centerpieces will have real grapes around the candles
using burgandy and sage green as our colors
use the names of wineries for your table names
corks for place cards
corks in flower vases
favors are wine stoppers with grapes on the top
get some various wines and do a tasting
wine charms as favors
our save the date was a napa postcard
