Nicole I'd love to see your place as well. It was great that you located a job so quickly.

I am keeping my fingers crossed since FI may be moving down there too. I think temporarily we'll stay in Boca. I've been looking on realtor sites and it's soooo hard to pick a home, affordable home. I am also nervous about a new job, I really like my current gig.

janetta- i know exactly what you mean. we were shocked at the cost of housing here but knew we wanted to own our home- so we are on a serious budget for a while- but i love our house. its in a really safe gated neighborhood. so will FI get job in Miami? that would be grat if you were here- we could meet for lunch or something! the new job things stinks- its hard to be the "new girl" but everything worked out well. keep me updated on your possible move- and if you move to south florida i have the names of our realator, mortgage broker, etc- they all did an AWESOME job for us so let me know

Yes, Jared is in the air force and stationed at Eglin AFB. I love it and our house (it's off base) is a block away from the ocean!!! I'm getting very excited. Yep it's by Destin too but I've been told to avoid that area when it comes to spring/summer - too many tourists I guess? My exact date of moving is confusing. I move out of Edmonton March 27; probably going to go and spend some time with my family who live about 4 hours south. But I may have a job lined up in Fort Walton already so perhaps begining of April... for sure by end of April i will be 100% moved in.

Congrats on the new place Nicole! I'm glad to hear you're getting settled in and things are calming down for you. What a relief!

Glad to hear you already found a job,, that's great news, at least you have plenty of time to get settled in to your new place before you go back to work. I kind of enjoy starting a new job, I like meeting new people. Yeah the first couple of weeks sucks because it's hard to get to know someone, but after that it fun..

we just need some more stuff- newer furnture- that couch is from college and it is gettting pretty gross. and we need to hang/buy some more art. just basic decoration stuff- but i know those things take time- and we might get some cool stuff as wedding guests- so i am being patient. i love it though! its so big and open. thanks for the kind words ladies!
