Dreams Cabo Brides - Ceremony Time?

I'm getting married at Dreams in August 2009 and will be sending out the invites soon, but have not decided on our ceremony time. Is there a certain time you suggest? 4 PM? 5 PM? I just want to see what others have done since we have to end by 10:30 and want to give our guests enough time for dinner and dancing. Thanks!

I let my photographer suggest the time. I wanted to make sure we had enough light and enough time to do pics before sunset. We even did some of our family pictures before the ceremony so we had enough time to fit them all in.

I got married in November. My ceremony started at 4pm. Cocktail hour from 4:30-5:30 and then dinner around 5:45 (after our entrance and first dance). I can't be sure, but I think dinner was over by 7pm. The music ends at 10:30pm at Dreams, and I felt that this gave us plenty of time for dinner and dancing.

We are getting married June 2009. We are going with Manuel Burgoin for our photographer and he suggested getting married at 630 p.m. As the sun sets between 750 and 810. So our plan is ceremony 630-700, individual/group pics as well as cocktail hour 700-800 p.m. Supper to be served at 815, have small speaches during supper. Dance to begin 900 p.m. and go untill 1030. I think that still gives us plenty enough time to do the cake cutting, first dances and dance, then we'll just hit the lobby bar or something!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
