how do I word rehearsal dinner invites. My FI's parents are hosting, but I am sending out a little card to invite the people who need to be there. We are having an official church rehearsal and then a fun mexican fiesta dinner at a great place in Napa.
Any ideas?

I would do something like:
"The grooms parents, Mr. & Mrs. Groom, host a fiesta style rehearsal dinner at the Fantastic Napa Restaurant, such and such date & time. Please join us in the pre-wedding festivities."

I guess the question is are you inviting everyone who's invited to the wedding to the RD or just a select group of people? If it's everyone then I would add a separate card (as seen above) into the invite. If however you are having a small RD with just family and the wedding party then I actually like the idea of doing a a separate invite... just to keep things simple when stuffing envelopes!

we will be sending out about 30 invites to the rehearsal dinner. Large wedding party, plus lots of little kids invovled in the wedding.
