Default Invite Advice

Hi Ladies,

I ordered some invites from the gartner outlet.
I got a package thing that came with the following

50 invites with envelopes and seals (single page)
50 response cards with envelops
100 programs (folded)
50 all purpose cards

I also bought these really cute monogram programs that I would prefer to use on the wedding day.

I ordered a few sets of enclosures also just in case I needed something else

so here's the dilema...I need to send out formal invites, with a response card. I also need to send out info/invite to the day after wine tour
I think I might send out invites and info for the rehearsal dinner because a ton of people will be going to that.

Should all those mailings be seperate? Can I include price information about the wine tour in the invite to it?

I would like the RSVP to all be on one card to avoid having to pay for so many stamps.

I have so much stationary now, I am overwhelmed and have no idea what to use for what.

Personally I would do the invite with the rsvp card and the wine tour info together...I think putting the pricing on the wine tour info is fine, as long as it's not on your formal wedding invitation, and then send the rehearsal dinner invite separately...you can always have a less formal way of rsvp'ing for the rehearsal dinner (ie. email or phone) to save postage.

Did you think of maybe doing the regular RSVP on one side and then the day after wine tour on the other? That is what I was thinking of doing. I was planning on printing each separate and then attaching them to a piece of colored cardstock. That way you won't be able to see through the paper and you'll still save on postage.

Christine...yeah send the invite and rsvp out first...then follow up the wine tour in a newsletter or something...you could do it all in one too.

my FI step-mom asked me last night about the weekend's events because she was worried about booking rooms, so I guess I need to get out everything sooner than later. I think I will send out everything except the formal invites in March.

I just talked to my TA and she said I should try to get the invites out 6 months in advance, ughh, I thought I had more time. I guess I'll shoot for the beginning of April. It will be good to know sooner rather than later who plans to come, but I know people are such procrastinators!

So my FI and I went through all this stationary last night, and decided that we actually like the programs we ordered for invites better.
Sorry for the terrible photos, I guess I was not being a good photog. Where's Leigh when you need her.

I sent mine out 6 mo in advance...when i researched that is what they suggest for DW....

I followed up with a newsletter...and everyone was glad they got the invites when I did send them so they could map out their tax return money

Come on now yall know that is what folks were waiting for lol
