I want to buy these: 
but they're $6.25 each.. :S
and Oriental Trading has them in 12 for $30 ) PAPER PARASOL-PAINT YOUR OWN
but they're white.. They're called "paint your own" parasols.. but do you know how can I paint them? can I paint the complete parasol?  |

stencils?
they only have white ones at oriental? well order them and try to paint one. if its weird just leave them white, and put a blue ribbon on it somewhere?

I dont know if I would paint the whole thing. The paper it pretty fragile and may try and soak up too much of the paint. If you want the teal details maybe you can just paint some accents of teal like flowers/polka dots or wrap some pretty ribbon on the handle. Another idea would be to mix half teal/half white to cut down on costs. Good luck, I am thinking about using those too and painting just married on them.

Anny how many are you getting, because the site I think you are looking at it gets cheaper the more you order... Large Chinese Sun Parasols this is it right?

Anny those are so cute. Sorry I can't give you advice on painting b/c I am so not an artsy person. I would ruin them and make them look ugly if I painted them. LOL. But I like the idea of white ones with a couple of ones in teal.
