Can someone help me out on these? There are several in Cabo - Rose, Sunset Beach, Pacifica, Los Cabos? It's hard to tell from the website, but if anyone that has researched or been there, much help would be appreciated, as far as staying there, location, rates & weddings. Thanks girls!

when i was looking at those resorts, i had started taking notes. this is all I have ...
------------------------------ There are actually 4 Pueblo Bonito properties. The Rose, Blanco, Sunset Beach and Pacifico. Sunset Beach and Pacifico are located on the Pacific Ocean and the other two are in town on Medano Beach. All of them are really nice. Pacifico does not allow kids. Sunset Beach is built on a mountain so you get around the property on golf carts. Might not be the best place for a older group. Rose and Blanco are within walking distance to everything in town and is on a swimmable beach. Sunset and Pacifico you are not able to swim in the ocean because of undertows. Regarding wedding coordinators - Playa Grande does not allow outside wedding coordinators to work there, but all the Pueblo Bonito properties do. Have you thought of maybe Sunset Beach or Pacifica they are not on the main drag with everyone else it's on on it 's own on the Pacific side facing west. It's on a private beach! ----------------------------- |

Hey,
I posted pics from our stay at the PB Rose here Pueblo Bonito Rose
I think that the Rose and Blanco are not as nice as the other two.
I also got your PM, I'll e-mail you shortly.

Ann said it best as far as descriptions go and I agree with Karla as far as Pacifica and Sunset Beach being nicer.
I stayed at SB but visited the other three properties. Blanco and Rose are older and were so busy in comparison to SB and P. From my understanding a lot of timeshare guests stay at these resorts.
I visited in May. For proximity to the city however Blanco and Rose can't really be beat. There IS a free shuttle that will take you to these properties from P and SB! I really loved how quiet and refined the Pacific side is. Both are really elegant and new. I felt like I had received a Palmilla room and property without paying the Palmilla price.

We stayed at Rose for our site visit and they upgraded our room - it is very close to everything. Busy beach. We saw one wedding set up during the week, not very private, but it looked great. They strung white canopies and white lights between the palm trees, it was pretty.

So what everyone said is right, heres my 2 cents, Im getting married at the Sunset and having my guests stay at Rose.
Rose: Close to downtown, very busy beach with vendors etc. all suites rooms, etc. more of a busy resort if you want action
Sunset: tucked into a hillside, very moutainous (SP?) less vendors, 15-20 minutes from downtown, more secluded and very beatuiful.
Pacifico: no kids, kind of holistic, great food, beds on the beach? more private...
Laura Ortiz is the coordinator for these hotels, she is very busy (along w/the many weddings at all the hotels, they are filming an E! show there) but has been a doll with me so far...
I have way more info if you need it PM me, prices, etc. Quote:

Hi,
I am getting married in cabo on april 21 at cabo del sol clubhouse. Myself and my fiance as well as 30 of our guests are staying at the PB pacifica the whole week - it is GORGEOUS! Very new and well taken care of, great service, beautiful beach.
I had a site visit in February and was totally wowed.
Pacifica is the best choice as long as there are no kid involved.

Hi I am getting married at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach on 1/16/09. I have stayed at the Sunset Beach several times and I have been down to the Rose and Pacifica (next door to Sunset Beach). The Rose seemed to me as more of a younger crowd ready to party, it's right in the downtown area, and the clientele that stays at the Sunset Beach is a more high end crowd with more older people. The Pacifica is an all adults resort and is nice if you are into that meditation, holistic type of place.
