Playa Fiesta anyone?

Hello everyone!
My fiance and I just returned from a scouting trip in PV, and had a blast.
From all that we saw, we really loved the beauty, charm, and privacy of Playa Fiesta.
I was just wondering if there are any other PF brides out there??

Hi Kim.. welcome!!! I recognize your name from the pv yahoo group. (I'm very queit on that forum but like to check in from time to time :) )

I believe your our first Playa Fiesta bride!!! We have handfull of PV Dreams, a Westin, a ton of Las Caletas and a couple of Riu Jalisco brides... But we are all in PV and would love to help!

Hi Kim. I haven’t been there yet so I excited to hear your positive scouting review. I’ll be shooting a wedding there in March. From a photographer’s perspective I love that it’s in the Romantic Zone. I’m crossing my fingers that there will be lots of rustic architecture nearby that I can use as a backdrop for photos. Based on their website photos it looks like the hotel has a great atmosphere. It would also be nice to have it all to yourself if you're renting out the entire place. I’ll be sure to post a slideshows from the wedding when I get back.

Not a Playa Fiesta bride but I have researched the property and it is perfect for a small to medium sized DW. I love that they have catered the that niche and is very reasonable in comparison to other properties.

You have made a fine choice and I am sure you'll have a great time. Good Luck!

They also did a day after shot around PV that can also be seen on AOL's blog.

I've heard nothing but rave reviews about PF.

I am off to Puerto Vallarta in a few weeks two check out a few places and Playa Fiesta is #1 on my list based on the pictures and prices I've seen online. After I go I will come back and post some photos...

That was our #1 choice when we were thinking PV. We've since decided to switch to the other coast and go with Riviera Maya. However, Adam there is very nice. He offered us a free night's stay to go check it out, taste food, etc. From my estimates we would have ended up spending between $10-15k there just for the wedding/food/drinks etc. (not including lodging). Our TA advised us that for that kind of money we could pay for a majority of our guests' lodging. We have since not only decided to go with RM but with an AI resort as well.

The hotel looks absolutely wonderful though. If we had the money I think we'd do it in a heart beat!!!!! Very charming! Their photographer (can't remember his name off hand) looks excellent!
