 Legal requirements - last name documentation
Okay - I've waited a long time to start using the site!!! But... my wedding is quickly approaching (Dec 5th at Aventura Spa Palace)...
Has anyone else had issues with last name changes/meeting the legal requirements in Mexico.
When I was really young, my mom was remarried and I started using my step-dad's last name. It was never "legally" changed, I just had my dad sign an affidavit of name change that has both of last names, so now my birth certificate says my birth last name, my social security card has both and my passport has my step dads last name! I keep getting the run around from the WC with Palace Resorts and I feel like I can't get a straight answer from her... If I can't legally get married, that is fine, I'll just do a symbolic ceremony down there...but I would rather do everything down there!!! UGH!!! If anyone can lend any assistance..I'd be forever grateful!!!
