Many questions about invitations....

Hi,
For some reason, I'm feeling a little lost about invitations for my wedding.
I am wondering, where did you buy your invitations (for those who did not DIY)? What is the average $ people spent on invitations? What did you include with your invitations? How far in advance did you send them out and how much time did you give people to RSVP?

I think I want to do the pocketfold invites, so, if anyone has any good resources for that type, I'd love to know about it!

I apologize if this thread is somewhere else, but, I searched and could not find anything.

Our pocket folds will have the following inserts:

• schedule of events for the wedding day
• travel agent info
• our website - all other important info will be here

We are sending out our STD 1 year in advance and the invites 2 months in advance. We considered sending out the invites at 6 months but booking info will be on our STD's.
