do you mean which songs? or live vs. recorded music?

i am renting my resort's (dreams cancun's) sound system for the ceremony, with which i can use cds or my ipod. plus the sound system was needed to mic the ceremony ... i hear it can sometimes be hard to hear your vows without it, especially if you're having a video done.

for mexico, mariachis are always fun ... i'm saving them for cocktail hour tho.

i'm not definite on songs yet ... i think i'll be using

Israel Kamakawiwo'ole "Somewhere Over The Rainbow & What a Wonderful World" for the bridal party

bride's processional is up in the air still, but some i like are: String Quartet Tribute to the Cure - "Just Like Heaven," and The Weepies - "Somebody Loved"

recessional is probably "For Once in My Life" by Stevie Wonder (it was my parents' wedding song and i wanted to incorporate it)

If you're un-decided on what kind of live music to get, our minister sent me this post (on BDW) when I wasn't sure...(I have chosen the Mexican Trio)

"The Mexican Trio is one of the most romantic traditions ever... Here's why: When a man is truly in love he would hire a trio and bring "serenata" to the loved one.

The way a good serenata works is as follows... The future groom hires a Trio or a mariachi band and they all go directly to stand outside the loved one's window. If the light inside the room is lit then the serenata has been approved and appreciated by the future bride to be... If the light inside the room is never turned on... Then it is more likely that the father of the bride will let the dogs out!

Trios are actually accomplices for marriages! And it has happened that sometimes you need more than just one "serenata" to get the job done.

So when you have a Trio at your wedding it means many things... But the most important thing is that your
husband to be is already bringing you the first "Serenata" :)"

So depending on how much of a romatic you are, the Mexican Trio might be for you! I love the tradition behind it!

You mean the song you walk down the aisle to??

We're getting married in Hawaii so we're thinking something kinda Hawaiian but with meaningful Hawaiian lyrics. But I'm also in loved with Jason Mraz "I'm yours" such a sweet sweet song. And I love the beat of the song from the movie 50 First Dates!! Love that song and that song has meaning to us behind it!

This is the very last thing I have yet to decide. I need a good song to walk down the aisle to. My goal this weekend is to figure it out. Thanks for the suggestions.
