In my budget program on wedding window, there was a budget item for parent gifts. Do you all know what this is about? If my parents are paying for the wedding and his dad and stepmom are paying for the rehearsal do I have to get them gifts? How much do you think I should spend?

Christine I don't know much about this but I know that when I hired Juan he said he would give me two extra albums and my FI and I decided to give one to each set of parents. I know that the pics will mean a lot to them. I don't know about traditional gifts but this is what we plan to give them.

that's a good idea, since none of our parents need anything...but do you think we need to give them anything at the rehearsal dinner?
We have four sets of parents
My dad/stepmom
Mom/boyfriend
His dad/stepmom
His mom

Oh I just had the best idea-if I can find nice frames (like a 5 x 7) for a decent price, I can use those for my table name frames and then use the frames for pictures to give to my parents, grandparents, etc.
This way I am not wasting money on things...hmmm look at me already saving places.

The frames are a good idea. Also - maybe you could give them some tickets to a tour or show that they could use while they are at your DW or a restaurant gift certificate.

Well with four sets of parents a concert might be out of our price range, but we will probably pay for their wine tour day and get a nice set of pics done for them I think.

I have a question, do you still get the parents gifts even if they're not contributing to paying for the wedding?
