Default Beach Wedding Setups / New Permit Laws

Heyya,

I came across this very interesting article. If you have time, take a read.

Hawaii Weddings Hawaii & Oahu wedding Packages Weddings in Hawaii

Im a little upset that I wont be able to have my dream wedding ceremony set up with only 8 chairs and a bamboo arch

I think i just have to settle for my flower pathway and a table.

What does everyone think bout the new laws? I understand it is to protect the environment but hey there are alot of people who can do a lot worse to the environment than an actual wedding ceremony.

Arrrggh haha just had to vent some anger!

I didnt know about all of that. We are getting married on Oahu next friday and I was already charged the extra $20 for the permit to get married on the beach. I think it is stupid.
I wish you the best of luck in the near future with your wedding. Hopefully it somehow gets better, not worse!
