We went back to the kidney doctor today....
FI's kidneys are at 60% still (a normaly 70 year old is at 50%) but they did not get worse. I thought the kidney had the ability to repair themselves but that is not true. But he does not have a underlying kidney problem. WOOHOO! But he does have to very closely monitor his blood pressure and keep it well managed.
Since his kidney are in the state they are in, he has to be kept over night for his heart catherization Wednesday. He also has to get another ultrasound of his kidneys just to double confirm that his arteries are ok going to his kidneys. So after his cath we will be refered to the surgeon and keep going.
This waiting SUCKS!!!!!!!!! I just wish we could get this behind us.
