Hello ladies...I have this idea which many of you have similar ideas of have already done this but here it is...
I would like to make postcards that I can give not only to my guests but also to those people who were unable to attend the wedding and would like to send a message to my FI and I once we are married.
The post cards would be given and then we would have them send them in the mail on their return to Canada or maybe even from Cuba (this has not been finalized).
There is one thing though...If anyone has done this or has looked into it what is the cheapest way to go?
I want to add my own picture to the front and then put our address right on it so they do not really have to do much just place a message and send. Can you do this with your own computer? Should I use a company (Staples, Office Depot, someone online)? What is the best way to do this?
If you can help please do so...I would like to get started now and get them ordered if need be.
Thanks

Very cool idea. I have 100 post cards I ordered for free through Vista Print that I had no idea what to do with . Thanks for the idea.

Check out Vistaprint.ca!
You should be able to get them for free, just the cost of shipping. You can do just what you describe! A picture on one side and your address on the other. You do it all online and then they ship them to you. Really easy :) Let me know if you need a coupon code as once you sign up they send you emails daily with specials.

I'm doing something similar but I'm not nearly as organized as you. I was going to buy postcards when we get to Punta Cana and have all of our guests fill them out at the reception and just give them back to us. I was afraid to have people mail them back because Punta Cana's mail system is unreliable (according to my WC). If you are making the post cards yourself i would definately use Vista Print like others suggested.
Have you decided what your going to do with your postcards when you get them back? I think i'm going to find a photo album that will fit them nicely and show both sides.

I have also thought of doing something like decoupage or framing or something else that is artistic that can be put on the wall...I just hate having another thing put on a book shelf where it won't get looked at very often! I would rather have a great conversation piece!
