So I ordered white starfish online for my place settings and when I got them they were more tan in color than white. Needless to say I was a little upset with them. Do any of you know if I would be able to bleach them to get the color I am looking for? Thanks in advance!!!

Bleaching may cause them to fall apart but you could try on one as a test run. I would paint them white if you really need them to be that color.

Do a test run. And put them in a dilute solution of abou 2/3 water 1/3 bleach - or even less.
If they have any sheen to them, the bleach will eat that away, but it may lighten them a bit.

because starfish are so fragile, i would worry that bleach would damage them. as mentioned, a matte spray paint might be your best bet.
