Dreams Cancun - Questions for those married here!

I don't think it's a language barrier problem. Spanish is my first language, and I speak or write to Claudia in Spanish... I think she is so busy since they have so many weddings.

I wire money was NOT redeposited in my account this time from the receiving bank. The only thing we added in this wire transaction was the Dreams address at the end which was not required. I sent her an email asking her if she got it and still has not responded, ugh!

I contacted my TA yesterday to see if she could help me with getting this straightened out. I know claudia has been in because my TA emailed a list to her yesterday with my guests names and she responded back to that, its really making me mad that shes not responding.

Is there a contingency plan at Dreams Cancun if it rains? I mean a gazebo ceremony isn't gonna still work is it?

I think there is somewhere inside that you can have it, I guess it just depends if its raining all day or just a quick shower.


On another note, my TA got a response right away from Claudia, she does have my deposit (no shit!) so I'm all set now.

why couldn't she have just responded to me instead of making me go to my TA?

That is odd, well I E-Mailed Claudia about paying her instead...I haven't heard back from her yet. But as long as it is showing that you paid, you have proof!

We leave for Dreams on Friday the 19th, and then leave for Secrets Capri on the 23rd and are staying there until the Friday the 26th.

That's too funny that you are in Irving!! We live in north Irving (Valley Ranch), we have lived in our house for four years...we love the area!

Sorry if this has already been answered - for anyone with a beach reception were you able to pay extra for a plated dinner - we're trying to stay away from the buffet and I haven't heard back from Claudia yet!

Yes, you have the option of a plated or buffet dinner. I don't think that their is a price difference however your choice is limited. I believe you have to serve the same thing to everyone if you get a plated dinner whereas with the buffet there is more variety of what is being served.

I am doing plated, and was able to do two different dinner options. I chose to do the Sea Bass w/ tyme & lobster sauce and the Rum Butter jerk chicken breast on the same plate. Don't think that answers your question, but thought you might like to know
