karma: 0 | Walking down the isle (beach)
Hiya ladies!~ I was jus wondering how ya'll walked or are planning to walk down the aisle?
I have been debating this, and am not quite sure. I am most likely going to walk by myself but not sure if Bridesmaids should walk down by them selves or with the groomsmen....
I am thinking this order...
His parents, then my parents, then groomsmen, best man, then groom...
then bridesmaids, maid of honor, flower girl and then tadaaaaa ME!!
Not sure how to work the guys.....
Also what to do right after the ceremony?? Walk up the isle then what> Is that gonna be an awkward moment? Perhaps that is a good time for a group shot...Maybe some champagne?
Thinking out loud....Jus not sure how to work it....

I like the idea of the majority of your guests sitting then the parents, then I would have the bridesmaids walking with the groomsmen then finally you could make your grand entrance!!
Ta da!!
Hope this helps

Hi Mineeaux,
I am not having a bridal party but usually the BM's walk with the GM's and you should definately be last! :)
As far as after the ceremony, there is usually a cocktail hour or some sort of champagne toast if you don't want that. Then Party!

I say as long as you are last to make your big entrance, it doesn't matter how you walk down. I'm not sure if it's an American thing or not but at nearly every wedding i've been at, the groomsmen seat guests (the MOB and parents of the groom seated last) then join the groom and best man at the altar. The brides maids then come down the aisle followed by the MOH then the Bride, After coming down the aisle, you and the groom could do a mini receiving line to greet everyone as they make their way to cocktails.
