AHR decorations *lots-o-pics*

decorations for the AHR have been bogging me down for quite some time...BUT the past few days my mom, my aunt, and i have been getting down to business! i'm posting pics of everything we've come up with in the past few days (some of the ideas were thought out beforehand but NOT executed...)

*a little background on the AHR:
-6 days after the wedding
-at a place called Texas Old Town
-ambiance is rustic country (but not cheesy!)
-we're sending out approx. 250-300 invites.....

-24 tables with 4 different centerpieces

ordered denim tablecloths and making runners with side zippers

centerpiece #1: mason jars and milk bottles

centerpiece #2: patron bottles (large and small)

centerpiece #3: galvanized cowboy hat

cowboy hat detail: using beer bottles (texas & mexican beers - to represent where we're from & where we were married!)

**centerpiece #4 will be galvanized flower vases?? any ideas welcomed!**

candles will be unscented, ivory votives (the ones pictured are just some we had around the house)...the ones we use will be a little bigger than those

initials to use somewhere....maybe hang on entry doors? (1/2 price @ hobby lobby)

old beat up frames found for $1 at hobby lobby to frame enlarged engagement pics

same as above, except an old frame i used for a school project..haha

metal oil latern (pictured in plastic wrap) to use for light @ guestbook table

all in all i'm VERY pleased! we did the flower mock-ups on our own, but are considering hiring someone to do them the day of the party....agh! who knows....

yay for progress!!
