Default "Adults Only" resort strict with age??

Hi,

Does anyone know how strict the adults only resorts are? My fiance's nephew will be ALMOST 18 at the time of our wedding...17.5 to be exact, and we were told from a few travel agents that adult only resorts are pretty strict, especially Excellence. Has anyone getting married at an adults only had any experience with this?

Thanks!

I have stayed at Adult only resorts before and was never asked for ID... I dunno... I guess I don't look that young anymore but who knows.

I'm guessing it won't be a problem. 17.5 is pretty close, but they may ask for copies of passports when you check in.

Personally, I'd talk with the WC - my best guess is that when you tell her you're going to be coming with a group of 30 (or whatever) and that one of them is 4 months shy of his 18th birthday, they'll let him in. It's not as if he's 14.

Yes they are very strict with age. That was one of our questions cause we want to stay at an Adult only resort.

I think you should be ok. He's almost 18 and I don't think they check ages. I think what they mean are no children. As long as this guy can pull off acting mature, he should be fine. I would call the resorts and follow up though.

Yeah, definitely ask before hand. They might not have an issue with it at all.
