past ROR Brides (flowers)

Hi Ladies

I know there is a million threads on flowers, but I am so torn on what to do. I got a quote from AA that was $520 for my bouquet, 3 x bridesmaids, 2 x corsages, 6x boutaneirs. Now my fear is they will look fake. I really want real ones but I heard they are expensive and you cant guarentee what you will get. I also am afraid they will loook wilted in the heat.. so now my dilemma should I go with fake or wait and get real when I get down there

My friend used AA and her flowers are really beautiful! Even my other friend who hates fake flowers thought they were beautiful and classy. The ones she had are also really heavy~ish so they really aren't skimpy!!! I think I'm going to use AA as well. I was worried as well until I saw them. Her post is somewhere on here. I will find it and edit this.

Like I said, they are really beautiful and lifelike and well worth the money. Actually it will probably be discounted for you since the same at the ROR would probably cost you way more. Plus you get to keep them forever

Thanks for the reply, but have you seen them in person. My fear is that I have seen so many from AA in pictures but I fear they will look fake in person.

Yep. Saw and held them in person. I was so excited when she got them. They are gorgeous. Very real looking and feeling!! Moreso for the bouquets. Made me feel more comfotable to touch and hold them before buying my own! Melissa let them have creative license and I think they did a good job.

I too am struggling with this dilemma. I keep bouncing back and forth. I love the default destination bouquet that AA makes and it's a good price. I haven't went ahead with a quote yet because I still don't know if I want to not have any real flowers. But I do like the thought of having them forever! Thanks for asking this question. I will be following the replies!

I had my flowers made and shipped to me by a lovely lady in Georgia. I have a few pics and I can give you her email addy/website if interested!

You will be extremely happy with AA. I ordered them based on the recommendations that I saw here on BDW. As you know, they look real in the pictures but I didn't know what to expect either. But when I got them, I couldn't believe how real they looked! The fact that they even smell real is absolutely crazy.

No one knew they were fake until I told them. My mom, MOH, and hubby were even surprised when I got the shipment. I could not stop looking at them when I got them. (If you look at my wedding review, in my planning thread, you'll see the pics of the bouquets that I got)

I would not have paid what I did for AA, at ROR!!!! And, I would not have my bouquets at home, to look at everyday like I do now

It was well worth it to me & a decision that I do not regret.

Silk flowers look real in person and in pics when they are high quality flowers. My mom did my flowers and my bouquet has been sitting on the mantle since we got back from our honeymoon in April, well about 2 weeks ago my DH asked me "are those flowers gonna last forever?" He had no idea they were fake all this time! Men.....

Hi ladies

So the quote I got from AA was $520, I emailed Tai Flora for a quote on the exact same items, and she gave me a quote for $570... so I think I might get the real ones.. just personal preference.
