karma: 1 | Where are you doing your TTD shoots?
I'm getting married in Puerto Aventuras at the Grand Palladium resorts, and while there are several cool spots on the resort that we could get some pictures, I'm looking for some other sites to go to as well. Any of you ladies in the PDC or Tulum areas- where are you going for your TTD shoots? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

You might look into the Grand Cenote or Ik Kil Cenote. Both very beautiful.
The other thought we had at one point was trying to get permission to do it at Xcaret eco park. It is just stunning there I have been told.
Does your photographer have any suggestions?

we tried to get into the Tulum ruins as we did't know it wasn't allowed. So we ended up just doing it at the resort. If you go that route, make sure to do it early morning or evening when the beach is less busy.

Yeah- I was disappointed to find out that you can't go to Tulum, but I guess I understand. I'm hoping to find some non-religious ruins somewhere along the road to take some pictures at, so we'll see. My photographer is coming in with me, so he doesn't actually have any local suggestions- we're on our own!

there are ruins near PDC that are not sacred. they are like old houses. still, i don't think they are anything amazing for a TTD.
