I was wondering if any of you who have used 'jumping the broom' as a part of your ceremony allowed your MIL to read the symbolism of the act? Do you think this would be something special where she could feel that she was a part of the ceremony...

I didn't jump the broom, but I have seen it at other weddings and lots of different people have read the script.
