Default Welcome Party & Rehearsal Dinner

If you want to host a welcome party for your guests and/or rehearsal dinner do you have to pay extra for it? Or can you just make reservations somewhere for your whol group? I have been seaarching through other threads but can't seem to find any info on pricing. Thanks!

My resort WC made a reservation for a restaurant at our AI so i don't have to pay for it, it just won't be private other patrons will be eating there too.

our welcome party and rehearsal dinner were both FREE! I would just let Chandlyn know a good amount of time beforehand that you would like to reserve a "common space" for your group to have a welcome party. If you want something private, you will have to pay.

Ours was free as well. We had our welcome party at the sports bar...we were gonna have it at the bar near the entertainment stage, but a show was going on... It was kinda hard to have it at the sports bar because it was loud in there, but it wasn't impossible...everyone enjoyed it because the bar is down there and so are snacks. We had our rehearsal dinner at St. Ann, someone was supposed to arrange that...but they didn't so we just grabbed some tables and grouped them together...no biggie.

I am planning welcome drinks, nothing formal for our guests the day we arrive. I am looking for suggestions for a bar and a good time to meet that is semi private (I dont want to spend money on this). We were thinking around 5pm before dinner. We are just looking to introduce everyone. I am probably not going to arrange this with Chandlyn as it is just a quick/informal thing. Any suggestions past ROR brides?

There are tables in front of the stage next to the lobby bar. You should be able to grab some tables and put them together because it only really gets busy there later at night when the pre-show and show are on.

We used St.Ann's for our welcome dinner too. You'll just have a section reserved for you & your guests while the restaurant is open to the rest of the resort guests.
We had a great time.
