Default Master of Ceremonies?

I have a question and I'm not sure I've posted in the right place so moderators please feel free to move this.

I think am having my wedding in a villa in Puerto Vallarta and will probably have live music for wedding and reception. I will also have a wedding planner. Does anyone act as an MC? Do I have to hire someone else to do the cake cutting, etc.?

You could ask a family member to MC. We had my Uncle do it and it was great. You could also talk to your wedding planner about this. Im sure she would have some great ideas!

Thanks ladies. I think that's what I'll do. My brother-in-law will be perfect and will love it.
