I recently got engaged and we are looking to have a small wedding in Napa. I have been doing some research, but am wondering if anyone has any recommendations since I have never been there.

I attended a wedding that was held at the "Silverado Resort" in Napa and it was beautiful...

I can't help you with Napa Valley, but I can tell you about a wedding in Carmel by the Sea. My SIL got married there 3 years ago and it was beautiful! I loved the town because it was so quaint and cozy. She had her wedding at the church in town called Church of the Wayfarer ( Churches, wedding services, Wedding guides in Carmel CA and Monterey California) and then she had her reception at the winery called Chateau Julien ( Chateau Julien Wine Estate - Carmel Valley, California). Her wedding was gorgeous and so much fun. She got great pics on the winery grounds.

I thought this may be helpful since there are so many wineries in napa and each has a unique charm... Wine Country wedding locations, incl. Napa Valley wedding locations Sonoma reception sites and more
I always wanted to have a party in the champagne caves at Gloria Ferrer...

I would look into Calistoga Ranch. It has this really beautiful wine cave that would be perfect for an intimate dinner.
