O.k, so I am very DIY challenged, but I managed to create a monogram and logo for our luggage tags on powerpoint. I'm just not sure how to save the actual picture so that I can use it throughout my wedding. I've never worked with powerpoint so I really don't even know where to start. I can't seem to save the entire picture. When I click on it, it either highlights the palm tree, or the text within the palm tree...please help sad.gif

TIA,

Hold down control and click on every part of the logo. kind of just roll the cursor over each part and the cursor will change, click then. One you select all the parts, right click and group it all together. Then you can save it as an image, right click for that too. There might be an easier way, dunno.

In powerpoint, the easiest thing to do is to put the cursor away from any of your design elements and draw a box around all the design elements.

Once that's done, right click on one of the corner indicator dots and select "grouping" and "group" That will lock all of the pieces in place, and you can just copy and paste it anywhere you want. BTW, I recommend that you opt to paste special as an enhanced metafile (I think that's the name) because you can then resize your logo to be whatever you want.

You can also opt to "save as picture" Note that if you save it as a jpg, any clear space (no background, etc) will go black, so that's not my first choice.

Good luck!

Thank you for your feedback ladies, I was finally able to do it last night after a full day of messing around with it. Although for some reason I wasn't able to copy & paste the entire picture, I learned how to just begin with the picture and add the text on it's own. Well, that's good enough for me :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
