Red face TSA Wedding Flowers

I am really worried about taking my flowers as a carry on in a shopping bag. Does anyone know how strict they would be?
I have to take my flowers and the bridesmaids flowers.

if it's silk flowers, I can't imagine there being a problem.. only if they were real.

With the TSA, one never knows. I hate to say that, but really, I've had some good agents, and some @$$-holes. I think if you are nice, and look for a "good" agent before you get in line, you will probably be OK.

I just got an email from TSA and they basically are saying the same thing...it depends on the officer that checks my bags.
I hope they are nice.

Thanks

I'm confident you will be just fine!

I had no problem with mine. I had them in a small carryon bag. I called TSA before and they have no official policy, so it's up to the individual screener. With all of the other wedding stuff, I think they are a little lenient.

If you have a bouquet jewel, you should probably pack it just to be safe. The wires in the flowers are hidden & covered in plastic, not just a big needle looking thing, LOL

THe only bag they searched was my glass centerpieces because the candles showed up opaque on the x-ray so they had to check them out.
