Prices have gone up for Sandals resorts by $1200!!!! I'm devastated!!! We still haven't booked ofr our wedding for this December!!! Any assistance would be so appreciated!!!!

Well, I don't know a whole lot about it. What I do that is that you will probably have a whole different feel from Sandals. Almond Morgan Bay is a much more family-friendly resort. I've heard mixed reviews on it, but I've never been there. If you want adult only, I would take a look at The Rendezvous. How many people are you planning on having? | |

Thanks for the suggestion...that resort is just as much as Sandals...might as well go Sandals...we just really wanted to cut down on our cost. After spending only 5600 for two weeks at Ocho Rios Sandals last christmas...spending 8000 this year just seems like so much! Also renovating house...really pricey!!!!

Ocho Rios is almost always going to be cheaper than any of the Sandals in St. Lucia. There are other resorts you can look into that have received glowing reviews and are less expensive than Sandals. I'm just throwing some names out there in no particular order and without looking up prices right now:
Discovery at Marigot Bay
Anse Chastanet Resort
The Body Holiday at LeSport (althought this is usually very expensive)
The Jalousie Plantation
The Landings (I think there is a lot of construction going on though)
Windjammer
Ti Kaye Village
Jade Mountain (usually pricey though)
Ladera Resort
If you look at Tripadvisor.com you can find reviews from people who've had weddings at every one of these resorts. I know since you've been to Sandals before it's comfortable for you, but I'd recommend looking at a few places before plunking down more money than you want to. | |
