Now two years old...

...but I think it was nice :)

Well we were going to a friends wedding so in around 2 months, so I said to myself - why not propose then? So I went to the jeweler with my mom and I picked out the best ring I possibly can! I actually drove him (jeweler) nuts since I did research before going over there (clarity, cut, etc).

Two months goes by and the day before the wedding we were out and about in Massachusetts with her friends, friends and we went back to the hotel. Had some dinner in bed (we were really tired) together and then I gave her the poem that I made in a nice frame (took me a good 2 days to come up with everything). The poem was titled: "Past, Present, Future" - just like the type of ring I picked up for her :)

At the end of the poem I had the following:

She ran to the bathroom and then came out (quickly) and said "Yes".

Unfortunately it was a bit messed up cause I told one of her friends, and she told her Plus, it didn't go as planned - but I had to do it that day... :/

Oh well - at least it was still nice for the both of us!!

What a cute story. Love that you made up a poem and everything. I can't believe you told one of her friends and she TOLD HER! I would be so mad at my friend for telling me and my FI would've killed. lol

That is sooo sweet. To bad the friend had to go and ruin the whole moment and surprise. I would have been soooo mad if my friend told me, and FI would have been soooo ticked!!!
