Default Save the Date or Save the Dates?

We are obviously having a destination wedding, but we're also having an AHR. I want to include both on the STD. Should it read "Save the Date" or "Save the Dates" since it's 2 different dates?

What did those of you who had events on different days do?

Do you expect your guests to go to both events? If so then I would put both dates.

I did 2 separate STDs...one for the actual wedding and one for the AHR (since a lot of people from the AHR are not invited to the wedding). I ordered 25 magnets for my STD for the wedding and ordered 100 postcards for the STD for the AHR. All together, I only paid $26!! Check out vistaprint.com and sign-up to be an insider. You will get Emails when they run free product specials. I was really pleased with the turn-out on both of my STDs!

I would say it depends on if you are inviting all people to both? I would assume not all AHR would be invited to the wedding or you wouldn't be having both. Have you thought about doing them seperate?

Wink Re: Save the Date or Save the Dates?

I plan on doing mine separate. I am sending save the date flyers out now because we are cruising in June. The flyers are going to everyone on the list. Then once people are booked, we will send out invitiations for the AHR but that will be 6 weeks before. I hope most people come on the cruise so we don't have to have the AHR. My 86 and 90 years old aunts are booking this week! I never expected them to come!

I think you can put Save the Dates as long as you are inviting everyone to the AHO and the wedding.

Yes, we're inviting all guests to both events. I think we'll write "Dates" since it's 2 different dates. Thanks for your responses - appreciate it.
