 | Groomsman Gift Ideas Hey Ladies,
My FI and I have been strugglin with an idea for a groomsman gift - the budget is @$200-$250 - BUT we have decided that all gifts given that are for the wedding party (or our parents) MUST be keepsake gifts, not a consumable (inital idea was nice sunglasses - but no one would keep sunglasses for a lifetime).
My two girls are getting Tiffany Starfish necklaces.... but we are at a loss for the guys...
The only idea we have come up with is a really nice hunting/fishing knife (we live in Northern Ontario Canada and this would probably be appreciated) Our groomsmen are the outdoorsy types - BM is a police officer who enjoys fishing, golfing, camping, and travel, and our GM is a factory employee who enjoys fishing, hunting and camping.
IDEAS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 | Re: Groomsman Gift Ideas I am totally 100% stealing MoonPalacePookies idea. FI wanted something different and we couldn't think of a single thing. So I told him about what "one of the girls on that forum I'm on" did and showed him her pic and he LOVED it!
It's a group caricature. You send them the peoples pics adn tell them what you want each person doing and then they make them into caricatures.

 | Re: Groomsman Gift Ideas Yeh Dez,
that caricature thing is kinda cute... but I wouldn't want that hanging in my house... that would go right up there with the melted beer bottle art, and deer heads that made it to the garage when FI and I moved in together.
The cooler IMO is a disposable gift, you don't keep it for a long time the way you would a piece of jewellery.... ya know what I mean?
Maybe I'm too fussy.

this site has some great hunting/fishing gear that is personalized. we have some of this stuff, and it's great quality...lasts forever. also, the color selection has several "manly" colors.
they also have koozies, bottle carriers, passport covers, etc... |
