Default boutonniere photo charm?

John saw my idea of having 2 small bouquet photo charms to honor my deceased grandparents. He really liked the idea and wants to order one to remember his grandfather who recently passed. We were trying to think of a place to put it on him. Do you think a boutineer photo charm would be tacky? We are going to go w/ the smallest tile or charm...to make it inconspicuous. Once the seller on etsy emails me the pics and specs of the charms, I'll post it. Here's the seller Etsy :: charmingmemories :: Custom Photo Jewelry and other Fun Stuff. She's been great so far.

I don't think it would be too tacky...

Another idea ... Isn't there a little pocket or something on the inside of the guys' jackets? That could be a cool place to put it ... or if not a charm, how about a hanky that is embroidered. He could the give it to whichever of his parents or to his grandma after the ceremony.

I recieved two of these charms as a gift from StephanieMN (Thanks again Stephanie!) and I am going to sew the charm to my FI's hankie in memory of his dad.

She used a photo charm bracelet and just took it apart. She filed down the little "nubs" so there were no rough edges. I haven't gotten a pic yet - but am working on it.

Too cute! Have you thought about a pin or emblem?

Those are so cute!

I like the idea of placing his charm in the inside of his pocket.

i think it's a great idea to show it on his boutineer (sp?), esp if he was close to his grandfather.

Thanks everyone for all your ideas. I never thought of putting it on the inside of his jacket...that may actually be better.

leia, ill be honest, i think it might look weird on the bout. i think it would be much nicer to sew it on a hankie or inside his suit jacket or something like that.

I agree that it might look a little awkward on the bouteneire (which is not that big to start with). I think having it close to him in the pocket (or even maybe on the ring-bearer pillow) would be nice.
