I think demask would look gorgeous on a beach. It's your wedding, decorate how you want!

I am of the same mind. When I started, I was adamant that I would not use shells, starfish, or palms in my wedding or materials. Once here I saw how cute they can be and thought about it. However, it really isn't me so I am focusing on color however I am having an issue with a monogram and invites due to it as they all seem to have one of the 3. Go with what you like and the colors you enjoy, the scene will give it the beachy feel.

Yay, I'm not alone! I'm having a damask themed wedding in Cancun. Mine is mostly black and white with accents of pink and red. Here's my bridesmaid dresses...they're not exactly damask, but they tie in with all of the other damask things we're doing

Have you done your invitations or STDs yet?

We used a flourish on a few of our wedding projects.

Not exactly the same thing but just goes to show you can use anything on anything!
Sorry so big.. I resized but they aren't showing up.

I love the flourish! I found a couple monograms online that I'm loving but I'm having a real hard time commiting! It's so hard to make up my mind! But check these out... PinkDesignEvents - Wedding Monograms Contemporary, Stylish, Sleek
They aren't quite damask but I like the thought of doing a more floral pattern. May seem a bit more tropical? Only thing is I would like to repeat that pattern elsewhere without having to pay someone to keep designing things when i can do it myself! Does anyone know where I can get patterns like that to play with?

Go for it! I also LOVE damask and incorporated it into my wedding in Cancun. The most major was the table runners, which were orange damask...

Sorry so big.. I resized but they aren't showing up. | Where did you find this flourish? When I try to do a search for fonts, I find...fonts...not motifs. if I search Motif's, I find nothing? Thanks
