When to book fllights for May 2009 Wedding??

We are trying to figure out when to book our flights to the Dominican.. We are getting Married in May 2009. Some companies don't have flights out for that far out, anyone know when these prices will be out?

I don't have a suggestion as to when to book your flight (my wedding is in January (later end) and we haven't booked ours yet), but I do suggest checking out Airfare Watchdog to 'watch' the prices.

For example, the going rate for airfare to miami is about $275 pp. On airfare watchdog, there's a promo for $159 pp, but you have to fly by Jan 9; we're so close (our fly date is Jan 17)! But, I am hopeful that we'll get a good rate eventually!

I am in the same boat... I found tickets about $150 less pp this week, but no one in my family was ready to book yet... They have gone up $10 from yesterday... I hope its just bc its a weekend. I check rates almost everyday. I am addicted like that... You just really have to know what tickets usually go for and use that as a guideline.
