So we finalized the Guest List tonight....somehow we still ended up with almost 80 being invited....so much for a small little party in Mexico (didn't want more than 30 attendees). Should be interesting to see how many RSVP as it gets closer!

We invited 80. Only 25 have confirmed. Hopefully, the same will happen with you. We had a lot of people say they were coming in the beggining though.

we invited 115, and only 30 came. if we had stuck to our original list, we would have had 10 guests, so i'm glad we decided to extend our list.

Our original list was 50 - we ended up inviting 70 and got 55. Of the original 50, 45 are coming.

we invited 100 from the US and i got conned into letting my FMIL send out close to 200 invitations in mexico - she assured me no more than 30 people would come, because i didnt want more than 50 guests because i have anxiety issues, and guess what? we already have 52 guests confirmed as booked, and have not even come close to finishing counting up the RSVPs from mexico. we are going to end up having somewhere around 100 guests.

This is a good thread...my FI and I were just talking about this last night. Our invite list is sitting at around 120 right now but I don't want any more than 60...I'm afraid!
