Barbados

Hi all,

I haven't seen too many threads about Barbados, I'm thinking about having my wedding there in April 2009. Has anyone ever been to any of the Elegant chain of hotels, the Crane or the Hilton there? I've been there on vacation and remember it being pleasant. I'm also thinking about St Maarten if anyone has any tips. I picked these islands b/c they have the largest Indian populations, and I'm having a Hindu ceremony. Any advice? Thanks

I've stayed at the Hilton in Barbados and really, really liked it. Customer service was great.

The main restaurant had a big open-air seating area which was ideal. The pool and the beaches were outstanding.

I don't know about wedding arrangements, because I wasn't thinking of it at the time.
