Update: We have a photographer! It was much easier and quicker than I thought it was going to be! It really helped to have suggestions from some of the other brides to compare against those I had found. I highly recommend it as a way to keep your costs down and still get great pics!

Hi ladies,
I've been doing a bit of research on flying in a photographer to shoot my wedding, but of course, budget is a big consideration. Is anybody getting married in Punta Cana just before or after Nov 24th (not on) who is interested in splitting fees with me?

My daughter and another girl here on the forum shared a photog and it worked out extremely well. They each paid 1/2 of the 3 nights' hotel bill.

It really is! Their photog got to shoot 2 weddings back-to-back on two consecutive days plus got to stay 3 nights at an all-inclusive. The brides got some extra time with the photog since she was on location. It was win-win for everyone.

If anyone is getting married in Punta Cana around April 19-26, 2009 Let me know if you would be interested in sharing a photographer!
Or - if anyone has any reccomendations for one in Punta Cana. I can't seem to find any other than PhotoSouvenir but they are booked up.
Getting nervous about all of this stuff!!
