Groom and Groomsman Attire

Hi Everyone-

 

So I found my dress (yay!) And started to think about Groom and Groomsman attire since my dress is fancier than I expected. I would like a beige suit on the groom with a hawaiian shirt, and then the dad's and groomsmen in beige slacks and the same shirt, no jacket. Any good vendors either shops or online that you guys have found for this?

did you check the sticky thread where people post their groosmen attire. I know i ended up searching through that whole thread and found the website i'm ordering my shirts from.

We had great luck with Men's Warehouse for suits. They have the buy one get one thing going on right now so each suit was about $180 before alterations. They were khaki silk, so very light and breathable.

 

I agree with Danielle to browse the GM thread. I'm sure you'll find lots of good advice!

I know a few girls got their gm suits from kohls. And they looked really nice.

We bought all of our guys wedding attire at Macy's. They have some great stuff this time of year.

We found all our groosmsmen and groom attire at a store called Joseph A Banks (i think they are nationwide). They were great to work with, and gave ua 20% of everything. We got silk ivory trousers and a teal/mocha (my colors) hawaiian type shirt for the guys, and my FI is wearing Ivory silk trousers and a beatiful white shirt. He was going to wear the same shirts as the groomsmen, but then we saw this white shirt and when he put it on - i was like "wow, you look like a groom" - so that was the winner!
