hi ladies,

i am booked at the ROR on may 9'09 at 12 till 1, its a little earlier than what i would have prefered but my other prefered date (june 3) was booked up.... my question is what could we do in the mean time. i realize that we will be doing pics after but im guessing dinner wont be until about 6... so can u give me some ideas for us to do, keeping in mind that i dont want to change out of my dress!! im just worried that it will make too long of a day??

Many other brides were concerned about the same thing, but it turned out not to be a problem. Personally, your guests would probably enjoy some free time with nothing formal planned. Check this thread out:

All RiuOR Noon or Earlier Brides...What can we do until 6PM??????

Our wedding was a 1pm, and I felt the same way. But honestly it goes by quickly, we took pics, and our other guest went about there bussiness some hit the beah other the pools. Some even took naps. The wedding party and us went to the bar and drank til 6 rolled around. Everyone enjoyed the free time between events it ended up being a long day. And the break in between gave everyone a chance to re-engerize themselves.

Im not going to the same hotel as you. What we have planned for that time is a cocktail hour that will have drinks and some appetizers passed around. Maybe something like that would be nice so your guests can mingle and get to know eachother.

Yeah the time goes by fast. Our wedding was at 1 pm but it lasted about 45 mins. We took pics for about an hour and a half. Then we went back to the room and relaxed while the guests all hung out at the resort. Some went shopping or to the beach. It was nice giving the time to do whatever. Most went and changed their clothes and then we met back up at Mamee Bay at 6:30.
