Where are you purchasing your battery operated votives from?

Here are the LED lights on Amazon - I have not bought them yet, but have played around with them on loan from a friend... Amazon.com: Submersible FloraLytes - White (Pack of 10): Everything Else
Search Amazon.com for "submersible floralytes". I think that's the major brand for this type of light. You can also get ones that scroll through several colors.
The lights also look great with these: Decor N More Water Pearls
Hard to tell on the website what they actually are, but basically they start as little hard beads (think caviar-size), and when you add water they expand to be almost the size of small marbles! They're sort of a stiff gel ball. You can put them in vases with water/flowers or even alone in a small fishbowl with a couple of LED lights - they look great! They reflect a lot of light and sort of glow, so they'd be great to add lighting to a night reception.
I have a friend who owns an import/export home decor company, so he gave me samples of the Water Pearls (and LED lights) to try. Very cool. And since they're so tiny to start, they're easy to transport!
Sorry this got so long - good luck! I'll try to post a picture of the lights with the Water Pearls soon - just need to find my card reader...!

Do you know if the tikki torches will stay lit on the beach? | I saw tikki torches at various places on the beach and at the bars - I don't think you'll have any problems with them at all.

Are you going to place them in frosted votive holders?
I think that's what I'm leaning towards. I bought some printable clear stickers to print our logo on and have them set at our reception tables.

Unfortunately, I already bought a bunch of little short juice glasses from Crate and Barrel (similar to these, but they were $.50 each! I couldn't pass up that deal... http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family...1&SearchPage=1
I think I will put some sort of transparent paper or fabric around them so the light can come through but they don't just look like plain glass with a light in them. Maybe add some sand? I don't know. I'm trying to incorporate the Water Pearls into the middle centerpiece of each table, with 3-4 glasses/candles around that in a circle. *shrug* We'll see!
What else are you putting with the candles? Are they part of a centerpiece on the reception tables?

We are just doing the votoves. Since our reception is outside on the beach, I figured I could go minimal with the decorations since the atmosphere will be so beautiful. We are just going to place some tea lights at each table and call it a day.
