are you at all nervous that the place will book up?

i am having such issues estimating how many rooms to put deposits on. my TA is telling me that May is super busy and we need to book the rooms ASAP before the resort sells out.

I am trying to understand better how Karisma sets up the weddings betwen Nany/Fabio, onsite coordinators and Lomas travel. Do they require us to go through Lomas Travel? What role does Lomas Travel play (do they help us on the day of the wedding, do they provide the flowers,. etc)? Does Lomas Travel require a fee to help in the wedding?

JenKathrine we are at 5:00 as well. It is strange that they would do that, but I am sure it is ok. There will be two pretty girls getting married that day!

Not sure how Karisma works between Nancy & Fabio. I know some girls on the thread deal with Fabio, but I'm dealing directly with Nancy. She's not much help with anything, I've started cc: Fabio on my emails to her. I guess its still TBD what role they will play once we start actually booking 'wedding amenities'...

Nancy just emailed me and said that they do not allow any outside vendors. I emailed her back about allowing outside photographers. I am looking at Elizabeth Medina who has done many weddings at the Karisma hotels. Hopefully they will let me bring her. I am not too happy with the photographer that are considered "inside vendors"

Mexican Bride with Questions - I just recently got Elizabeth Medina approved as an outside vendor for my wedding. I'm working with Fabio, but it seems like you should be able to have her approved by Nancy too. She does do a lot of weddings with Karisma properties.

For the girls getting married on the same day at the same time -- I know there is another bride on June 5 too, but we are not getting married at the same time. I'm surprised they would have two at the same time?
