Hi everyone, its so nice to know all the brides-to-be at Azul Sensatori, my name is Winnie from NY and my fiance and I are confirmed our bookings for our wedding date JAN 10, 2009

I'd love to hear from all of you about your experience and or plannings for your wedding. I'm in the middle of trying to stay as a calm bride despite my type A personality too ~~~

My fiance and I are planning to visit azul sensatori sometimes in early oct, are any of you planning to visit too?

Hey girls!!! Sorry haven't been replying lately. We are getting married at 6pm. April 26. Seems like they squeeze a lot in in such a close time period.

Hi Guys I am scheduled for 5PM ceremony... If you do a private dinner on the beach it must start at 6pm so I planned around that. All day is a party when you are in Mexico!

Our ceremony is at 5. . .my TA suggested that we do 4 or 5 that we'd have plenty of day light for the pictures. . .and we liked it cuz we're all about having plenty of party time!

FYI. . .I'm a Jersey girl at heart (I noticed a bunch of you on here!)! I grew up in Cherry Hill, I became a PA transplant after college.

winwinbride- We are glad you found us! So far you will be our very first bride. Do you know when they are aiming to open- beginning, middle or end of October?

manders- 31 people booked! That's awesome! So far we are the only 2, but I didn't feel like that counted. STD just went out this week, so we'll see.

hihi girls, I booked mine at 3pm because we thought picture time comes after the ceremony; otherwise I would have booked it at 5pm. My hubby to be doesn't want to see me in the dress beforehand but he also wants the ceremony at sunset.

I booked my ceremony at 5 pm. I have the same picture dilemma. I think what we're gonna do is have pics with family and bridal party before the ceremony and maybe during cocktail hour. And then do pictures with just the two of us 2 days after the wedding. We'll probably have to switch to a different hotel, so we don't have to pay $500 photog fee again. I am thinking Hotel Esencia or Maroma.

JHarwood2Be - I just spoke with fabio yesterday and I was told that the hotel is scheduled to open on time on 10/1/2008.

My ceremony is at 3pm, and I'm planning to have cocktail reception from 4ish to 6ish (sunset's around 530pm in jan). I spoke w/ my photographer who's also a friend of mine, he doesn't recommend taking photos bet noon - 3pm. I was hoping to take some photos before the ceremony. Any suggestions girls?

I'll def keep you guys posted on everything (wedd ceremony site, sky deck, cocktails site etc) I'll very likely visit that 1st weekend when they open, can't wait til the visit
