 |  HELP with hair salon/service in Vegas
Hi everyone! I guess the nerves have finally set in-just the nerves of planning something from so far away!!!
To those who got married in Vegas or are about to-where are you getting your hair and or hair and make up done?
I have a friend in vegas and she recommended a salon-but its like 20 min from the strip and I dont wanna risk not getting ready in time.
The bellagio charges 90. for a updo and 150 for bridal ( I didnt say bridal since I dont hav a veil or headpiece).
Can anyone give me some suggestions? Anyone reputable who comes to the hotel maybe? I found some online but they seem sketchy!!!
Or even a place you went that was good

I have a cousin who runs a couple of salons in Vegas, but I think hers are off the strip as well and one may even be in Henderson. I'm pretty sure any salon near the strip would charge more, but it may be worth a bit extra to play it safe and convenient

Honestly, I don't think 90 is too too bad, especially for the Bellagio. That's insane that they charge an extra $60 for bridal though!
I think a few years ago when I was a bridesmaid in a wedding we paid around $70 each for updos and we went off the strip | |

I paid 80 for mine in Napa so 90 on the strip isn't bad. If you don't want to leave the strip you will probably find that is the going rate. Did you try another casino though? the bellagio tends to be pricey anyway.

Thaks for the replies!!! I guess 90 is not too bad-another bride sent me info on people who come to your room so Ill look into that as well. Ill just suck it up and pay $90, bummer. I want such a simple updo-maybe for the money Ill get something fancier! he he he

Yes and the bellagio asks if its bridal, I lied and said no-I mean I have no veil/headpiece so whats it to them....I mean 150? COME ON!!! lol

another option is to see if any of your friends going with you can help you...honestly updo's are not that hard as long as you have a crapload of bobby pins.

Thanks for all the great suggestions, it is nice to know 90.00 isnt too awful for the area! It sure is alot for upstate NY-but...what can ya do
I wish my friends could do up-do's....having such a small wedding-not possible

Check into "Glamsquad" and "Lori White". Also "Makeup by Veronica". They are are recommended by other brides. | |

I'm interested in any references also...particular those that have a background in doing black hair and makeup for darker complexions. Henderson is fine also since that is where the wedding is. | |
