I couldnt find a thread specific to trash the dress make up so I thought I would start one...looking to get advice, experiences, opinions etc on what to do for make up for this fun photo session. I am hoping to wear a little bit of make up at least mascara, maybe some foundation, lipstick (love cover girl outlast) and is it possible to throw on some eye shadow? Is there such a thing as waterproof foundation and eye shadow? Thanks for your help!

I really didn't have any makeup on also. I had a bit of concelor(sp?) on but once you get in the water it gets washed up... I think natural is the best especially with a good tan.

here is a pic of me....during my TTD

Lancome has the best waterproof eyeliner. There is one from Mybelline, I think, but it isn't as good.

I'll be wearing fake eyelashes with waterproof glue for the wedding and the TTD.

I'm not planning a ton of make-up, but do want to brighten my face a little. I'm guessing any of the Color Stay makeups will work well for as long as you will be in the water. I'm sure that you won't get your full 12 hours of wear, but it should last long enough to get you through the shoot.

I saw in my People Style-Watch magazine an article called "melt-proof makeup" and they recommended Clarins "Fix' Make-Up" for $25:

"A refreshing mist that sets make-up and prolongs its hold, while providing a feeling of instant freshness and well-being. Also provides continuous hydration and comfort."

I was thinking of trying it out for both wedding day and TTD.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
