Hi I'm a newbie and have been lurking for quite a while reading all the posts.
FI and I are trying to narrow down our choices for resorts and we really like Azul Sensatori by Karisma. It's not even open yet but our TA has visited and says this resort is specifically designed for weddings. She also says that Karisma hotels overall have great weddings anyway (EDR is also a Karisma but we'll have some children attending so EDR is out) It's an AI and I'm not sure if a reception is separate or not. I can only imagine that there's a cost to this and that and it could really add up.
We are also considering the other Azuls - Azul Fives and Azul Beach and any fantastic deal out there that you may know about.
Does anyone have any suggestions, comments? Please share!

I am actually also in talks with them, about the Sensatori. I am also looking a few other ones and am going down there in a couple weeks to check the sites out. I will look at the Azul they have open, so we'll see. Will share feedback when I get back. Priscila | |

We are getting married there in April. I am a little anxious about it not being open yet, but we did see a wedding at Azul Beach and we really thought it was nice. I think in the package you can have your reception included for 40 people in the Spoon restaurant. If you want a private dinner you pay extra. If you have any other questions let me know. We will be going down after they open in October to pick our ceremony and reception locations. | |

We definitely decided to go with Azul Sensatori so we're set on the location - and deciding on location is always the most difficult part.

I am also in love with Azul Sensatori...I've done a lot of hotel research, and this hotel looks like it's going to be great. We haven't decided on a place yet, but 90% sure we will go with Azul Sensatori. Their SKY Deck package sounds amazing. | |
