I think she is just chickening out. But she's just making things worse by avoiding you. You probably would of been disappointed that she can't make the wedding but now your pissed that she isn't returning your phone calls/emails/rsvps. I know it's annoying but try not to take it personal.

yeah - i think some people can't deal with confrontation - even in the sense that they can't stand telling someone bad news or something disappointing. my original moh did something similar
she needs to grow up a little, though. when and if you talk to her about it, i would just tell her that you can understand her not being able to come, but avoiding you hurt you worse.

ive had a couple "close friends" do this to me too over the last two weeks. i wouldve been a whole lot less peeved if they had just come to me right away.
