I vaguely remember your original post on this. I'm so sorry that this is all still an issue. As long as you are honest and forth coming about everything, hopefully the system will work in your favor.
I also second (third?) the documentation. Very important. I would also reccommend not going into extreme detail here until everything is settled. No reason to add any fuel to the fire. You never know who is scanning the internet for stuff to use against you.
You and your family will be in my thoughts.
